If you box and ship it yourself

Measure the box, then add 1 to 2 inches to each side before you get a quote. Carriers re-measure every box with their own tape, they round up, and a box that comes in bigger than declared is billed back to you weeks later as an adjustment. Quoting it a little large means no surprise on the bill.
A saddle box is charged by its size, not its weight. A saddle box is roughly a 24-inch cube, and 24 x 24 x 24 bills as about 99 lb with UPS or FedEx even though the saddle itself weighs 25 to 60. That is normal, not a mistake, and it is why the estimate above looks like a lot.
Wrap the saddle in a blanket or bubble, stirrups off, girth off, and fill the empty space so nothing shifts. Insure it for what you'd sell it for.
